- Ensure following MMSA guidelines.
- Assist with Production Scheduler and Inventory Control Analyst duties as needed.
- Assist in B.O.M. review.
- Attend weekly KPI and monthly MMOS meetings with BUMM.
- Attend 8D meetings when required.
- Operate in a safe environment.
- Perform any tasks/duties as required by Plant Management.
- Ensure monthly cycle counts are complete including investigating out-of-tolerance adjustments.
- Complete cycle counts on build outs – weekly on last 8 weeks of production.
- Report daily cycle count findings, investigate discrepancies, report root causes/corrective actions.
- Send weekly releases to production suppliers and monitor inventory levels.
- Monitor silo inventories and bulk resin delivery schedules.
- Receive production shippers into Parts+ system and investigate discrepancies.
- Supervisory Responsibilities - Inventory Control Analyst or Materials Manager resumes duties if vacant.
- Environmental Responsibilities - Cooperate with action teams, know evacuation plans, trained in clean-up, familiar with environmental postings.
- Perform customer service work.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field; or 3-5 years of relevant materials/inventory management experience.
- Knowledge of automotive industry requirements, systems (EDI, MMOG, etc.) and best practices.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, data management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory auditing.
- Understanding of ISO, QS, and other quality standards.
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
