The Role:
Andersen Consulting is seeking an executive leader to help build a global Architecture practice.

This individual will have proven experience building cross-geography technology teams and has deep proficiency in modern architecture designs, patterns, and technologies.


This role includes:


As the Head of Architecture, you will help architect solutions for our clients to drive business agility and product innovation.

You will build a workforce of distinguished architects who will work with technical and product leads across our clients to develop and implement product strategies.

You will structure and design the Architecture team to meet the broad needs of the market, including industry and/or technology alignment.

You will collaborate with other Andersen Consulting practices to build joint go-to-market offerings.


You will help establish a competitive position and brand for Andersen Consulting against other service providers in the technology consulting space.

You will drive new business opportunities and sales, leveraging your deep expertise in product and platform design. You will create new solutions and assets to augment consulting services that drive differentiation and alternative revenue streams.


You are a dynamic leader capable of facing off with senior business stakeholders to explain technical concepts while also equally comfortable working with development teams to review and provide direction on their work.

You will stay on top of new technologies and trends that will keep Andersen Consulting at the forefront of innovation and change.

In addition, you will play a key role shaping the growth and expansion strategy of Andersen Consulting. This includes corporate development and acquisition activities to enter new markets and strategically scale your team.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing new client opportunities and leading sales campaigns aligned to your offerings and competency areas.
  • Managing and developing strategic client relationships while ensuring the highest quality client work, and inspiring, leading and developing new consulting staff.
  • Identifying and forming strategic business alliances with technology companies, designing joint gotomarket offerings, and codeveloping solutions.
  • Crafting marketfacing materials, such as research pieces, white papers, points of view to market our capabilities and create demand for our services
  • Collaborating with other Andersen service lines (i.e. Tax, Legal) to establish a set of enterprise design principles and standards for building clientfacing technology

The Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree with 10+ years of experience in the consulting industry and a distinctive record of professional achievement and impact.
  • Managing Director/Director (or equivalent title) experience at a tier one consulting firm or executivelevel position in industry within an operational function.
  • Proven experience managing a large global Architecture Organization.
  • Vertical leader who is able to interact at the executive level while simultaneously able to talk to development resources to review and guide their work
  • Experience building global workforces, including offshore delivery capabilities to help Andersen Consulting and our clients scale their ways of working.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in modern agile delivery and comfort working in a productled organization
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to travel based on business need up to 50%.
