- Conduct virtual sign language interpretation sessions between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing individuals.
- Provide accurate and clear interpretation between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken language.
- Adapt signing style to meet the unique needs of clients in various settings.
- Certification from a recognized sign language interpreting program.
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
- Michigan certified interpreter with valid EIPA Performance score of 4.0 or higher or if they have over 3.5 EIPA and are willing to apply for LARA waiver upon receipt of offer. If they have , they must have received their EIPA test scores within the last 24 months to be eligible for a waiver or have valid Michigan BEI II Certification
