SENIOR ACCOUNTANT / BILANZBUCHHALTER (m/w/d)

Our client is a globally leading provider of specialty chemicals and ingredients. They are known for their innovative strength and quality products. In Hamburg, they offer an exciting position in a modern work environment with an attractive compensation package. You will be responsible for the accounting of the German company and organize daily operations. In close collaboration with teams in Norway and the USA, you will ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Your responsibilities

  • Review, categorize, and record ongoing business transactions using existing software solutions (ERP, DMS)
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
  • Management of accounts receivable, point of contact for accounting-related customer inquiries
  • Preparation of all tax reports, declarations, and other (statistical) reports
  • Support of internal/external audits
  • Close coordination and collaboration within the finance department (Norway, USA)
  • Drive continuous process improvement in the finance department and initiate technological change
  • Take on administrative tasks in the finance department

Your profile:

  • You have completed a commercial education or a degree in business administration and ideally hold a certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter
