Endpoint User Support Specialist
LOCATION: ARLINGTON, VA
This role supports a Government agency requiring US Citizenship.
Datawiz Corporation, a Virginia-based business established in 1999, is seeking an Endpoint User Support Specialist. The company holds CMMI Level III, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and ISO :2011 certifications, specializing in IT infrastructure for Public and Commercial Sectors.
Technology Scope of Position
- The focus includes Microsoft Defender, McAfee suite, and Carbon Black.
- Strong knowledge of Windows platform, SCCM, MDT/OSD, PowerShell/VBScript, Intune, O365, M365, MacOS, iOS, Android, Citrix, XenApp/Desktop, McAfee, Carbon Black.
Responsibilities
- Experience in infrastructure systems administration.
- Work following SOP's and Work Instructions to provide quality service.
- Solve complex issues, handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Provide support to customers collaborating with remote personnel.
- Work independently with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ensure Change Management procedures.
- Provide guidance for policies and maintain distribution points.
- Collaborate with Application teams and stay updated with market trends.
- Identify and communicate issues effectively.
- Document work processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of remote desktop tools and Microsoft support tools.
Preferred Skills
- 5 years of IT support experience.
- 2 years administering and deploying McAfee software.
- Experience in managing antivirus software and information security tools.
- Experience in Systems Administration and other related technologies.
- Experience with ticketing systems and network security concepts.
- Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network protocols, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft OS.
