Description

The HC Pacific Account Manager is responsible for contacting assigned customer accounts and prospects to sell company products and services.

Additionally, this position will interface with management, operations, purchasing and suppliers to ensure that customer needs are met on time and on budget.

• Assists meeting personal sales targets as established, incorporating the full range of products within identified markets. Typical accounts would be diverse customers that require ongoing client relationship support.
• Assists in preparing daily sales quotes and proposals to ensure a successful outcome.
• Assists in preparing the conversion of sales quotes to orders obtained.
• Answer sales phone calls. Be able to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and coworkers
• Estimates date of order fulfillment, based on knowledge of own company's standards and delivery schedules
• Follow up on quotes by maintaining the daily, weekly and monthly RFQ log and win/lose statistics
• Participate in special projects and programs as assigned, such as training or communications sessions within or outside of the company

• Work with other departments to make sure that orders are fulfilled in a proper and timely manner
