This essential part of our company ensures that we efficiently fulfill and ship orders so that our customers receive their items on time.

It is led by Operations Managers who bring the team together to promote excellent safety, quality, and productivity at all of our locations.

As an Operations Manager, you will coordinate with other managers at your location and create an operational plan to help your teams achieve their goals.

This role is focused on supporting operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.


Key job responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a team of Area Managers
  • Managing shifts for operational teams, handling issues, and promoting site performance
  • Analyzing shifts according to company guidelines and implementing measures to improve our operational excellence
  • Working closely with other support teams, including HR, finance, occupational health and safety
  • Designing and implementing initiatives at all locations to improve operational performance

A day in the life:


You will lead shifts at one of our operational sites and act as the main interface between several different teams, including finance, security, and operational integration.

This means observing daily operations at your site and contributing to new innovation opportunities.

A typical day includes meetings with various business areas, in-depth analysis of performance and risk metrics for sites, and forecasting to prepare for different demand volumes.

You will also provide daily mentoring and coaching to your team. As a leader, you will support your team members in fully developing their management potential.
