DESCRIPTION
Responsible for overseeing the management of designated principals' business within specific "customer accounts", with the main goal of boosting sales and market share for the represented brands and generating profits for our manufacturers and Acosta.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering principals' objectives such as volume and sales fundamentals (e.g., merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving) targets at assigned customers efficiently.
  • Creating a Customer Business Plan focused on meeting the principals' business priorities.
  • Engaging with all key decision-makers at the customer level to present and promote business plans, programs, and concepts that enhance long-term business outcomes.
  • Achieving optimal results at the lowest possible selling cost while maximizing company revenue. Managing all manufacturers' expenditures at the customer level.
  • Ensuring superior in-store presence at assigned stores, engaging with headquarters, supervisors, and other customer operations personnel. Handling manufacturers' trade marketing funds, managing direct shipments, and utilizing data to pitch concepts to customers.
  • Operating within the allocated budget effectively.
  • Proactively communicating with key principals and collaborating with Retail Sales Managers on various retail initiatives.
  • Utilizing knowledge of customers, markets, and principals to leverage marketing, technology, and administrative resources in achieving set objectives.
  • Providing timely selling priorities information to Retail Sales Managers and shared resources, and sharing customer/principal information with team members to enhance organizational capacity.
  • Leveraging computer systems and technology to execute the Customer Business Plan objectives. Developing and maintaining skills to support the use of Acosta communication systems.
  • Offering feedback to the Team Leader and/or General Manager on enhancing organizational capacity and business improvement.
  • Meeting the physical requirements specified below.
  • Performing other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least six months of relevant experience in retail (CPG industry), marketing, space management, and/or resets with a preference for sales administration or finance experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Driving is a requirement for this position on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing; thus, any DUI/DWI conviction within the past 36 months will result in immediate disqualification.
