As a Concrete Polishing Technician/Epoxy Floor Installer, your role is crucial in achieving top-notch concrete surfaces.
You will utilize your expertise in mechanical polishing, honing machines, and various processes to deliver high-quality results that exceed customer expectations.
Attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical polishing and work with honing machines to achieve exceptional concrete finishes
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including proper handling and storage of epoxy materials and equipment
- Monitor work progress and quality standards to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Conduct inspections and quality checks of finished floors, identifying and addressing any defects or imperfections promptly
- Ensure all equipment is wellmaintained and stored properly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation are required
- Minimum of 2 years of concrete floor polishing experience, including mechanical polishing and hand grinding edges
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for working with epoxy materials and equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Physical Demands:
- The job may require working on hands and knees and occasional pushing or pulling of objects
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
