Team Lead - Manufacturing (Second Shift)

Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Training on 1st shift for at least 2 weeks, 9:30am - 6:00pm)

  • Job Summary:
  • Duties & Essential Functions:
  • Lead production activities within the designated department, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
  • Train department team members, including agency personnel, to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Coordinate production activities, effectively managing resources to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for department inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor team performance and attendance, addressing issues promptly and escalating to department Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
  • Relay operational concerns and recommendations to the Production Manager, contributing to process improvement initiatives.
  • Review and maintain production quality control measures, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Promote shop floor organization and plant cleanliness through adherence to 6S principles.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lead in a manufacturing or warehouse facility.
  • Strong customer focus with exceptional communication, problemsolving, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, Quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet business needs.
  • Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
  • Regularly perform tasks on hard floors, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, and stooping.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 15 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Commitment to regular and punctual attendance, including voluntary or mandatory overtime.
