The candidate will be a System Engineer for an enterprise WAN solution:

DarkStar The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations and will be the primary interface for DarkStar.

The selected candidate will closely work with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams to maintain, sustain and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system.

Candidate must be comfortable working in environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small and midsize servers.

Candidate will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching and maintenance.

Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration.

This position works a 9x80 schedule, with every other Friday off All work will be performed onsite at our Littleton, CO facility

Basic Qualifications:

DoD SECRET clearance
Demonstrated experience with configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual)
Experience with Active Directory administration, including health checks and troubleshooting
Experience with Group Policy Object configuration and administration
Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS). Offline WSUS experience a plus.
General understanding of IT systems
Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundaries
Self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
Capable of building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
A+, Security+, or MTA Certifications

Desired Skills:

Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS
Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes
Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting too
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8
Experience using Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure
Experience with SPLUNK
Experience with Domain Capable Windows/Linux/Virtualization

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 .

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Non-represented full-time employees:

accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
