    The selected candidate will be a System Engineer for an enterprise WAN solution: DarkStar They will be responsible for supporting the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations as part of a small focused team.

    They will work closely with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams to maintain, sustain and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system.

    Working in an environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small and midsize servers, this individual will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching and maintenance.

    They will use their knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration to complete the mission


    This role is onsite, working a "9x80" schedule, with every other Friday off ()

    • Active DoD SECRET clearance
    • 2+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual)
    • Knowledge of Active Directory administration, Group Policy Object configuration and administration
    • Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS).
    • Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
    • Demonstrated experience building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
    • A+, Security+, or MTA Certifications (or similar relevant certifications)
    • Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS
    • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019
    • Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes
    • Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting too
    • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8
    • Experience with SPLUNK
    • Experience with Domain Capable Windows/Linux
