Collaborate with design team members and train/manage design interns.

Project management of design projects
Manage and execute production drawings during all design phases.
Lead programming phase of assigned projects.
Generate space plan solutions.
Read, fully understand, and interpret drawings, scopes of work, and specifications.
Attend meetings as required.
Prepare 2D and 3D presentation design drawings in Revit Architecture, Ensacpe or Sketchup
Support the team with design and presentations.
Understand finish material pricing.
Assist in design procedures to continually improve our department and help differentiate MKS.
Consult and build relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
Make concerted efforts to build cultivating relationships with vendors, this may include lunch meetings or evening networking events.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education | bachelor's degree, CIDA accredited Interior Design program preferred.
NCIDQ Certified
Minimum Working Experience | 5 plus years commercial design experience
Possess basic knowledge of
Hand and computeraided design drafting skills
Space planning and an interest in programming
Basic understanding of building regulations and life safety codes
Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art, signage, color, and materials to execute design intent
Design techniques, tools and principals involved in the productions of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Proficient basic technical skills of interior design including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, AutoCAD, Revit Architecture is preferred

Pay:
$52, $57,630.00 per year
