    Job Description:

By using your expertise in human resources, coaching and issue resolution, you will have an opportunity to interact and support our managers and associates on a daily basis. The Senior Manger will be a member of the Employee Relations team and will be responsible for assisting in diagnosing, resolving and/or escalating all new incoming Dynamic Working matters to Employee Relations from across the firm.

    The Employee Relations Team has a great impact to the business both from a financial as well as reputational risk. They strive to handle all employment matters as consistently and effectively as possible. The harm to the firm if recommendations are incorrect could cause a great deal of money to defend as well as damage to our firm's reputation.

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring
    • Bachelors degree preferred not required
    • 7-10 plus years in progressively responsible HR and/or Management of people roles.
    • Employee Relations experience required
    • Demonstrated experience with and understanding of Leave of Absence and Accommodation offerings, eligibility, and impact on associates and the workplace
    • You have a strong ability to influence and work with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • You are a strong problem solver
    • You are a self-starter, and have a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • You understand the importance of handling highly confidential information and know when and how to escalate appropriately
    The Value You Deliver
    • Partnering proactively with managers and leaders to drive accountability for coaching associates to meet Dynamic Working exceptions.
    • Handling incoming cases to Employee Relations related to Dynamic Working in order to ensure managers and associates understand and are enabled to meet onsite expectations
    • Identifying trends/themes or patterns of issues and raising them to the appropriate partners along with recommendations and solutions for addressing issues.
    • Maintaining and developing relationships with key business partners including Business Unit HR, legal, security, FREC, Business Continuity to notify or gain business unit specific knowledge.
    • Participating in projects as both lead and subject matter expert as needed. This can include development of new or revised processes.

    Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
