- Provide companionship
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and home like environment for elderly residents in residential care apartment complex and in individual assisted living units.
- Assist residents in all areas of grooming and personal hygiene on as needed basis.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks like laundry, making beds and changing linens.
- Assist with meals and clean-up.
- Assist as support staff for medical visits and recreational activities as needed.
- May implement exercises designed to improve mobility and self-help skills.
- Maintain progress notes and data frequency counts.
- Document incidents as they occur.
- Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 6 months experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate with team members, residents, and visitors.
- Our starting rates are between $14.00 and $21.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications, and which unit you are working on.
- Increases upon successful orientation completion (usually between 100 days and 6 months). And regular wage reviews - we pay for high performance
- Resident Care staff are eligible for a $3.00/hour Night Shift differential and $2.00/hour Weekend Differential;
- Varying PM differentials are also available in some care units
