Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Center in
Pennsauken, NJ Join our growing and dynamic team and help us in receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Process orders, locating products, processing returns, onfoot and vehicular order picking
  • You will work with large plywood and board products, some of which are heavy and must be safely moved alone at times
  • It is very important you are comfortable with the physicality of this role before applying
  • Rolling and packing 3x3' or 4x4' sheets of thin laminate products into a tube, then plastic wrapping them and boxing them for shipment. This may also include placing longer nonfoldable items into shipping tubes and securing them for shipment with necessary dunnage
  • Driving sitdown forklift up to large stacks of wood board products to transfer them to your pallet before staging or loading into truck
  • Must be comfortable with the physicality of this role
  • Some of these materials are rather heavy
  • Processing outbound orders in LTL shipping area
  • Fast paced verification of quantities and item condition before loading onto carrier tractor trailers
  • Processing inbound delivery receipts
  • Indicate products on receipt match products delivered, noting damages or quantity discrepancies as needed
  • Working in a team environment on a variety of inbound and outbound warehouse duties
  • Operating a sitdown forklift and learning to drive other material handling vehicles as needed
  • Assist customers with loading their order onto their vehicles
  • Assist with general warehouse responsibilities (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Sitdown forklift experience

Role Characteristics

  • Stands for 3 to 4 hours at a time
  • Monday-Friday schedule 8:30am5:00pm
  • Overtime is not mandatory, but it is offered to employees on a regular basis
  • Lifts up to 70 pounds
  • Withstands fluctuating temperature changes
