    Job DescriptionSchool Custodian – Multiple Openings Available Imagine playing a fundamental role in fostering a clean and healthy learning environment where students and staff thrive. As a custodian, you'll be more than just a cleaner; you'll be an essential member of our school community, ensuring positive first impressions and a safe space for everyone. Badger State Staffing is seeking reliable, motivated individuals with a passion for service and a commitment to excellence. If you have at least 1 year of custodial experience and possess a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply Responsibilities:
    • Use brooms, brushes, mops, and power operated scrubbing machines, vacuum cleaners, buffers, shampooers, wet vacuums, liquid waxes and degreasers
    • Collete and dispose of trash, scrap, and garbage and recycling materials
    • Set up lunchroom tables and chairs before each meal period
    • Dispose of food waste and trash properly and sanitize tables and floors after each meal period
    • Safely and efficiently move tables into storage areas
    • Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers thoroughly
    • Replenish toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other disposables
    • Dust surfaces
    • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
    • Follow safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
    • Load, lift or unload supplies and materials
    • Maintain building security (lock doors, windows, etc.)
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Facilities, Building Principal, or Head Custodian
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, think critically and exercise good judgment
    • Prefer at least 1 year of custodial experience
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time with frequent lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
