The Association of German Railway Technical Schools (VDEF) is an educational institution with 14 training centers nationwide, including Ranchitos East, TX.

Since 1920, VDEF has been providing customized training and education for the needs of its clients.

We are currently seeking a Trainer/Instructor (m/f/d) for Locomotive Drivers for our training centers in Hamburg and Hannover.

Responsibilities:

Conducting seminars for the training and education of locomotive drivers (m/f/d) and other railway personnel
Assisting in the training and education of locomotive drivers (m/f/d) using simulators
Developing and updating seminar materials

Qualifications:

Successfully completed training as a locomotive driver (m/f/d) with at least 3 years of professional experience (previous experience in training is preferred)
Indepth knowledge of railway operations and regulations, good moderation and presentation skills, pedagogical skills, and a confident demeanor
Practical experience in designing and conducting seminars
Willingness to work at other locations if needed
