    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about working with students with complex communication needs Soliant is working with a district in the area of St. Cloud, MN, and is seeking a part- or full-time SLP to serve as a district wide AAC expert.

    We seek applicants who are comfortable with covering multiple locations, are well-organized, and able to collaborate with paraprofessionals, teachers, families, and other Special Education staff.

    Additional information about the District will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
    • Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology License
    • PELSB license (tier 2, 3, or 4), issued by the Minnesota Department of Education

    As a school-based SLP, you will:

    • Assess students that may need an AAC (Alternative/Augmentative Communications) device
    • Present assessment findings in a meeting with staff and student caregivers
    • Propose suitable devices, submit paperwork for the purchase of devices
    • Set-up devices, and work with staff and families to educate them about how students would utilize AAC
    • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
    • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development, especially for non-verbal or students with limited verbal communication
