Job Description:


  • Providing timely analysis and reports on the results and forecasts of all European units
  • Controlling the operational business areas
  • Creating monthly reports and providing commercial evaluations of results to the EMEA organization and headquarters in the USA
  • Validating the results loaded into the consolidation tool
  • Acting as a finance business partner for the operational business areas and working closely with executives
  • Conducting budget vs. actual comparisons and variance analyses
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities and risks, and deriving quantified measures to improve results
  • Developing the controlling function (processes, automation, key performance indicators, particularly in sales, controlling tools)
  • Planning budgets and forecasting
  • Managing the investment process
  • Commercial development and support for bid calculations
  • Risk management during the project bidding phase
  • Conducting adhoc analyses and special projects/tasks
  • Leading and motivating a small team

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or controlling
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position in the controlling department of an internationally operating company with headquarters overseas
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent English skills
  • Independent, conscientious work ethic and aboveaverage commitment
  • Strong communication skills

  • Structured and resultsoriented
  • Proactive approach to work
