About the role
What you will do
- Oversee the design and implementation of a global KYC strategy that meets global and local standards.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to implement KYC requirements and vendors.
- Work with cross functional teams to continue to enhance KYC operations.
- Oversee the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) operations.
- Be a point of contact for all KYC related questions.
- Monitor the performance and cost of customer onboarding.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to produce reports and presentations on the KYC program.
- Stay abreast of industry standards and developments related to AML and sanctions.
- Create and maintain clear documentation related to program and operational processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
- Assist with compliance projects as the need arises.
What you will need
- Minimum 3+ years of compliance experience focusing on KYC and sanctions; experience at a global fintech or payment provider preferred.
- Strong knowledge of KYC regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prior experience integrating KYC vendors and monitoring ongoing effectiveness.
- BA/BS degree.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to execute tasks at high speed.
- Sense of humor.
- Professional certification such as CFCS, CFE, or CAMs.
