SECTOR OVERVIEW


Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries.

With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other scientists, engineers, and regulatory specialists to support a wide variety of project types, including those that span water resources, renewable energy and transmission infrastructure, site due diligence and remediation, and industrial compliance. This will require the ability to understand, synthesize, and communicate information across a broad range of disciplines
  • Participate in waterbased and terrestrial field programs
  • Compile and analyze ecological and other environmental data
  • Write reports and impact assessments
  • Abide by Company policies and procedures
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies/Science, Fisheries, Wetland Science, Geosciences, or similar focus
  • Selfmotivated and detailoriented
  • Willing and able to perform outdoor field sampling activities, which may include work in remote locations, over rough terrain, or from a boat.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Being comfortable on boats and experience piloting small boats is preferred but not required
