    Zap Energy is a rapidly growing company at the forefront of developing innovative technology to bring fusion energy into reality. We are currently seeking a proactive and inquisitive Financial Analyst to join our expanding team. As a crucial member, you will utilize your meticulous attention to detail and outstanding analytical abilities to bolster the company's financial planning functions.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee budget management and financial performance through regular updates and comprehensive reports
    • Aid the FP&A manager in consolidating and scrutinizing financial outcomes, producing report materials for internal executives and the Board of Directors
    • Assist in the annual and long-term financial planning processes
    • Monitor the financial progress of significant capital projects
    • Create intricate financial models and reports covering labor allocation, headcount, and non-labor performance
    • Constantly enhance and refine processes, reporting techniques, and tools
    • Update and maintain financial systems to ensure they align with the chart of accounts and any organizational modifications

    Requirements:

    • Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
    • 1-5 years of relevant professional experience
    • Outstanding analytical skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookup and Pivot tables
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in data modeling and visualization using tools like SQL and PowerBI
    • Background in a start-up setting
    • Excels in fast-paced and dynamic environments
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to interpret financial statements

    This position comes with an estimated annual salary range of $80K-120K. Successful candidates may also be considered for other roles within Zap Energy, with final compensation based on qualifications, experience, and education. The salary range adheres to the guidelines set by the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act.
