- Prepare monthly operating financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow and operating forecasts.
- Provide executive summary report to stakeholders, summarizing monthly operating results and initiatives to improve financial performance.
- Prepare annual budgets.
- Support annual audit, cost report, and tax return preparation.
- Support accounts payable and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support financial software implementation for new clients.
- Analyze all aspects of financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate and collaborate with departmental leaders and key stakeholders to stay abreast of spending, budgeting, reports, and evaluation.
- Work closely with lender finance teams where necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Senior living experience, with entrance fee community experience preferred
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
