Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position to include, but not limited to:

  • Create programs for new parts using PC DMIS with scanning and probing techniques
  • Develop and debug CMM programs using CAD tools to optimize probe movements
  • Prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions
  • Raise notifications of nonconformance, quarantine nonconforming product, and provide disposition
  • Perform first article inspections (FIA) and use predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, inprocess, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements

Qualifications:

years' experience in CMM programming (complex aerospace components preferred)

  • Proficient with PC DMIS, PPAP, Net Inspect, Mastercam, Solidworks, and Verify (Aerospace
  • OEM Portals a plus)
  • Working knowledge of various measuring devices, testing equipment, gage and fixture design
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and develop concepts for measuring intricate machined features
  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime as deemed necessary by supervisor to meet
- customer demands

  • Excellent mathematical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Education Required:
