    FHEHealth ("FHE") is a dually accredited (CARF and JOINT) licensed behavioral healthcare institution that delivers quality, medically integrated personalized treatment for First Responders suffering from Behavioral Health Disorders.

    What Are We Looking for?

    We are looking for a Patient Financial Consultant to review all outstanding claims, pursuing payment from insurance carriers, patients and family members, ensuring all outstanding conditions for payment are met.

    Collections Specialists work each business component, until all claims are processed, and the file is closed. Reports to the Chief Financial Officer
    This position is ideal for candidates with experience in Pharmaceutical Sales, Healthcare Sales, Hospital/debt Collections

    Job Responsibilities:
    Provide financial counseling to patients regarding their healthcare expenses, including insurance coverage, patient options, and financial assistance programs.
    Assist patient in understand their medical bills, insurance claims, and out-of-pocket expenses.
    Verify patient insurance coverage including eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorization requirements for medical services and procedures
    Work with patients to establish payment plans or financial arrangements for outstanding balances
    Generate financial reports and perform analysis to track key performance indicators related to patient financial service
    Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPPA, Medicare, Medicaid and other relevant regulations


    Required qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in associated field is preferred
    Proven Experience in a healthcare setting or within a healthcare financial department is preferred
    Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance claims processing and reimbursement
    Familiarity with HIPPA and other relevant regulations
    Ability to analyze financial data and information
    Customer Service/Care Experience is a must
