UNC Hospital's department of Rehabilitation Services is accepting applications for a Per Diem Occupational Therapist.This OTR will work primarily in inpatient rehab on the UNC Hospitals- Hillsborough Campus with the option of cross coverage to acute care on the Hillsborough campus as well as Medical Center.
This position will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care.The commitment is to work a minimum of one weekend day each month, and there are opportunities to pick up additional hours as needed.
Completes OT documentation in the medical record per department guidelines and completes department records for billing and statisticsPlans and coordinates clinical programs in response to patient needs, technologies, clinical practices, regulations and reimbursement. Provides clinical supervision and teaching for OT students or staff. Evaluates the learner's performance.
Selects and performs appropriate Occupational Therapy (OT) evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems. Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
No prior experience required.
