The Rehabilitation Services Department at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC is accepting applications for an Acute Care OT Per Diem position .
This position will offer therapy services within a variety of acute care patient populations.The Occupational Therapist will work closely with a team of experienced OTs, OTAs, PTs, and PTAs in a large volume, fast-paced acute care environment.
The selected candidate will work a minimum of 1 weekend day per month. Completes OT documentation in the medical record per department guidelines and completes department records for billing and statistics 2. Plans and coordinates clinical programs in response to patient needs, technologies, clinical practices, regulations and reimbursement. Provides clinical supervision and teaching for OT students or staff. Evaluates the learner's performance. Selects and performs appropriate Occupational Therapy (OT) evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems.Education Requirements:
● Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
