Large local Metal Building Contractor is currently hiring a Ironworker Foreman for projects local to the Atlanta area and for travel throughout the southeast.

Applicants should have 5 years of verifiable experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building Sector as well as 3 years as a Steel erection foreman.

$100/day Per Diem and $150 One way Travel Pay_


Travel is required. We are looking for applicants interested in traveling projects throughout the southeast. We have a good consistent base of work local to the Atlanta area but there are projects that would require travel


Ironworker
Foreman Responsibilities:


  • Manage the erection process of preengineered metal buildings.
  • You will be required to direct work crews on the job site.
  • The Ironworker Foreman is held accountable for the safety and quality of their work and for completing the project within the Timeframe & budgeted cost.
  • Oversee individual projects from grade to finish
  • Reading Blueprints, Site plans, Etc.
  • Operate various Equipment on site such as Lull, manlift, scissor lift

Ironworker
Foreman Qualifications:


  • 5 Years Previous experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings
  • 3 Years as an Ironworker foreman
  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
  • A Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
  • Lift certifications are a plus
  • OSHA cert is a plus
