Cremation of Southern Maine is offering an exciting employment opportunity for an
Administrative Assistant. This is a part-time opportunity with a schedule of 16-20 hours per week based out of our Springvale location. There may be future opportunities for additional hours and the potential for a full-time schedule.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills with a high level of integrity and professionalism
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Professional appearance
• Team focused attitude
• Strong organization, administrative abilities and multitasking skills
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe. Ability to learn our Cremation Service management software
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Answering phones, assisting callers with providing information and routing messages to appropriate staff members
• Maintaining Accounts receivable/payable
• File Management
• Office Organization
• Preparing necessary documents and authorizations as it relates to cremation services
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an office/business environment
• Stable work history
• Aptitude and willingness to learn
• Empathetic and Compassionate personality
• Funeral Home experience is valued but not required
