We are currently seeking an Electrician/Mechanic as a Maintenance Technician for Rail Vehicles (m/f/d) for DB RegioNetz Verkehrs GmbH at our location in Schöllkrippen.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting and documenting maintenance work on rail vehicles and ensuring compliance with specific standards and regulations
  • Ensuring that all mechanical and electronic components and parts of rail vehicles are maintained according to maintenance guidelines and technical, economic, and scheduling requirements
  • Independently and professionally performing maintenance work on combustion railcars according to work orders
  • Adhering to fire safety regulations and promoting a safe and environmentally friendly work environment
  • Conducting functional tests and reporting any identified defects

Your profile:

  • Completed technical vocational training as an Electrician, Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent
  • Ideally, you have several years of experience as a qualified maintenance technician, preferably in rail vehicle maintenance
  • Strong sense of safety and responsibility, as well as the ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and work well in a team
  • Willingness to continue learning and acquire additional qualifications
  • Availability for shift work and a valid driver's license (Class B)
