- Lead the design phase of Motorola communication systems, including UHF/VHF solutions and trunk radio systems, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Motorola vendors, providing guidance and oversight throughout the design and implementation process. Ensure vendors adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables. Ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.
- Possess a deep understanding of Motorola communication technologies, including system architecture, RF design principles, and trunking protocols. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system designs, configurations, and implementation plans. Generate regular progress reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and project status.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in radio systems design and implementation, with a focus on Motorola technologies.
- Proficiency in Motorola system design tools and software (e.g., CPS, ASTRO 25).
- Strong understanding of UHF/VHF communication principles and trunking protocols.
- Proven experience in vendor management and supervision.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interface with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications such as Motorola Certified Service Center (MCSC) or Motorola Certified System Specialist (MCSS) are desirable.
