About the job


Technical documentation and data should be provided to all users at Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in high quality, consistency, and regardless of time and location.

Our goal is to transfer the documentation of our power plants into a document management system, where all users can find and maintain the documents in the future.

As a working student in the Documentation and Standards department, you will support the document managers in digitizing the paper archives of our locations and transferring the documents into our IT systems.


We are looking for you as a working student for the digitization of documentation at Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Bellechester, MN.

Your tasks

  • You will work closely with the document managers of the power plants
  • You will review and complete metadata lists for documents using our innovative documentation bot
  • You will work with data in MS Excel and prepare it for migration into our IT systems
  • You will check drawings and documents for consistency with the metadata
  • You will participate in the migration of documents into our document management system
  • You will maintain the documentation and create indexes for the archives of our historically significant power plants
  • You will provide documents for various stakeholders
  • You will participate in relevant meetings

Profile:

  • You are studying in a technical field, such as process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a similar field
