ADDITION TO STAFF We currently have a full-time position available for a Landscape Construction Field Superintendent who will be responsible for managing the field operation commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

Essential Functions

Managing projects to ensure labor, material & equipment budgets are on track
Maintaining accurate daily and weekly activity logs; updating production tracking reports and generating other related reports as needed
Responsible for dispatch of labor, material, and equipment to job sites
Manage equipment usage for maximum utilization
Ensuring that all construction services are delivered according to plans and specifications
Constantly working with foremen to ensure projects are brought in within budget and on scheduleCoaching, evaluating and training staff and field workers in the performance of landscape & irrigation construction services
Inspecting all field work; analyzing and resolving problems
Generating field work orders and estimation of extra work
Meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of our customers working with staff to ensure same
Working collaboratively with others; fostering a positive "people oriented" environment
Evaluate employee safety data and promote safe work practices or conditions; ensuring employees attend weekly safety meetings
Demonstrating the highest level of ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the Caretaker company culture
Ensuring that all employees are working efficiently and safely at all times
Other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies

Strong work ethic
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment

Education/Experience/Licenses

Minimum of 5 years' experience installing large commercial landscape projects _required_
Minimum of 2 years managing and leading multiple construction production teams _required_
Bilingual English/Spanish _preferred_
Expert knowledge of construction tools, machinery and equipment _required_
Proficient on MS Excel, Word, and Project _required_
Customer service experience _required_
Degree _preferred_
OSHA training _preferred_
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record _preferred_

Supervisory Responsibilities
Will manage Foreman and Laborers

Work Environment
Ability to work in extreme conditions-temperatures may exceed 100 Degrees Fahrenheit in direct sunlight for extended period of time.

Physical Requirements
Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds (mulch, fertilizer, etc.);

Travel Required
This may require in state an out of state business travel based on business needs.
