Job Summary and Qualifications:

As a Surgery Attendant, you will assist in a variety of functions related to the ordering, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of supplies and equipment used in the care of patients in the assigned area.

You will assist in patient transfers to and from the operating room, and assist with positioning the patient on the operating room table.

You will prepare maintain an adequate level if supplies for a 24hour period
You will stock supplies and maintain orderliness and cleanliness of supply rooms and storage areas
You will clean equipment used in assigned areas
You will perform messenger and transport duties as directed by SNU
You will follow professional standards, growth, and development

What qualifications you will need:

Experience

Previous experience preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Licenses and Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

300+ bed facility features a 24-hour emergency department,
the regions largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and the internationally-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute.
