Description
This position is with our company Pure Guard, which manufactures a welded stainless steel exhaust duct system coated with our proprietary hybrid fluoropolymer PureGuard coating.
Our combination of welded stainless substrate and proprietary PureGuard coating satisfied all testing requirements necessary to gain Factory Mutual standard 4922 approval for corrosive fume and smoke exhaust without sprinklers.

This role requires a hands-on problem-solver with expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance and diagnose malfunctions. Be prepared to use a variety of tools, interpret technical documents, and collaborate with a supportive team.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and adhering to SAFETY-LOTO procedures at all times.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex machine malfunctions across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repairs, utilizing hoists, cranes, and various tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring functionality and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Operate machinery and devices to test functionality after repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 35 years of experience in maintenance and repair of complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret complex diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality repairs.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful.
Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
