Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) Compliance Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social work or social welfare, marriage, family, and child counseling, counseling psychology, social psychology or equivalent education and experience as determined by the licensing agency.

Certification as a sexual assault counselor (S.A.R.T. Certification).

Experience:

A minimum of three years of experience in the prevention/education of sexual abuse/assault, crisis interventions, and work with victim of sexual abused/assault.

One year of experience working on child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance or compliance.

Other:
Possession of a valid State driver's license. Attainment of at least 21 years of age.


JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general guidance, provides training and oversight related to the prevention and detection of sexual abuse and sexual harassment.

The PSA Compliance Manager is responsible for establishing and guiding appropriate personnel and agency responses to sexual abuse and sexual harassment.

This position serves as a liaison for sexual abuse and sexual harassment with CCL, ORR, and other entities/individuals conducting investigations or requesting data.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1) Coordinate with corresponding law enforcement agencies when a victim of sexual abused has been identify.

2) Supervise other certified sexual abuse counselors or assistant manager.

3) Conduct training of sexual assault screening/recognition with agency staff and foster parents.

4) Ensure that agency is in compliance with Office of Refugee Resettlement as to regards with compliance with preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and sexual harassment

5) Screen all Special Incidents and police reported related to sexual abused, sexual harassment.


6) Ensure all incident and complaint investigation reports are kept confidential as required by Health and Safety Code Section 1538(b).

7) Conduct crisis interventions with staff and service recipients.

8) Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with agency employees, service recipients, community contacts, and regulatory personnel.


Pay:
$60, $62,000.00 per year
