Responsibilities:

Teach, design curricula, and carry out research in their area of expertise
Service to the university and the profession
Coordinate and organize classroom support staff and student teaching assistants
Regular, punctual attendance as required by the supervisor based on department needs
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

Applicants must be eligible for PT licensure in California (license obtained within 90 days of employment), have a defined research agenda, record of publications, and a strong Christian commitment.

Experience:

Prior academic or clinical teaching experience and specialization are valued assets in addition to an earned postprofessional academic degree.
Three to five years of teaching experience in an entrylevel DPT program preferred.
Three to five years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in area of specialty preferred.

Compensation:

$66,560 to $125,460 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, APU offers a competitive benefits package.

Compensation will be based on experience, rank, and qualifications.
