**Job Requirements
**As a Hardware Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing legendary customer service by offering helpful solutions to customers' home improvement needs. This includes maintaining stock, driving sales, building sales skills and product knowledge, and maintaining safety, security, and integrity.

  • Helpful customer service skills
  • Willingness to work mornings, afternoons, and weekends with flexible availability
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Perform all tasks as assigned, including cashiering, stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, processing shipments and store stocking, store cleanliness, sales, and operating equipment.
  • Accurately and efficiently cash out on registers and maintain all cash at registers.
  • Maintain department orderliness and cleanliness utilizing established standards found in Assigned Sections.

Work Experience

  • Retail experience is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and walk store consistently for up to 4 hours or more at a time.
  • Routinely bend, climb, and twist; the position requires the ability to retrieve, move, and stock product.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift and load products into neighbors' vehicles
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to process information and merchandise through a register system.
  • Flexible availability including weekends is desired.
