Responsibilities:


  • Deliver/Distribute inter-office mail to all designated offices
  • Deliver Regular Mail to and from Garden City office

Deliver any miscellaneous items to offices, such as:

  • Boxes
  • Any office items that managers may need employee to bring to other offices
  • Medication(s)
  • Office supplies/equipment
  • Employee apparel/promotional items
  • Other items not listed, as required by management team
  • Must be able and willing to travel between all offices / locations
  • Pick up and deliver messages, documents, packages, and other mail/items between offices/locations/departments
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Ensure correct items are dropped off and pick-up at each location
  • Opening of daily mail in home base office
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs at a time
  • Additional duties/tasks as assigned by management

Licenses:


  • Valid NYS Drivers License Required

Qualifications:

MUST have valid NYS Drivers License

  • Personal, Reliable Vehicle is REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; College Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of driving experience required
  • Previous courier/transporter experience a plus

Drives safely and maintains a valid drivers license and clean driving record:

  • Develop and maintain working relationship with all locations / managers
  • Ability to plan and carry out daily route to ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate calmly, clearly and effectively
  • Detailoriented, organized individual with timemanagement skills
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
