As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons.**Job Summary:
Duties / Responsibilities/ Job requirements:
- Bartenders must have a through working knowledge of bartending to include bar terminology and the most common and essential drink recipes.
- Bartenders must understand the basic rules of bartending, including how to correctly build a drink, suggest wine and properly pour a draft beer.
- Bartenders must at all times maintain an outgoing and positive personality.
- Have complete knowledge of this restaurants food and beverage menu.
- Must have the ability to serve the entire bar and or bar tables while meeting or exceed this companies Best in Class Standards.
- Ability to consistently up sell alcohol and food items.
- Able to use a computer to ring orders on a check.
- Able to interact with guests in a consistent friendly and fast manner.
- Able to accept different types of payment and make change.
- Maintain specific sidework and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the bar area. Ability to clear and reset the bar and bar tables quickly.
- Ability to correctly check identification of guests to ensure guests are at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age.
- If consuming alcoholic beverages, observe guests behavior, count number of drinks served, and if the bartender feels they should not drive, always inform management.
- All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests expectations.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Wellgroomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
- Communicates with Managers to inform them of any unhappy guest.
- Takes, fills to go orders, and checks for accuracy if applicable.
