    Backend Engineer Opportunity

    Position: Backend Engineer

    Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY

    About Us

    We are a fast-growing recruitment firm on the lookout for talented Backend Engineers to join a pioneering company in the data infrastructure and analytics industry. Our client offers a powerful embedded analytics solution, enabling companies to securely share customizable product analytics, project reports, and KPIs seamlessly integrated into their products' design.

    Funding and Team

    Our client is backed by Y Combinator, with Craft Ventures leading their Series A funding alongside participation from Felicis Ventures, Amplo VC, and various industry angels. With a current team size of 18, they bring together former consultants, analysts, developers, and designers who have experience building and maintaining large data tools.

    Role and Responsibilities

    As a Backend Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of the engineering team, leading product and engineering decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Owning large parts of the product architecture.
    • Collaborating directly with customers and design teams to define the product.
    • Contributing to the business's goals and helping to shape the product roadmap.
    • Tackling complex technical problems, such as frontend performance, home-grown charting libraries, scaling infrastructure, and data engineering as a service.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    We are seeking candidates who:

    • Have 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
    • Graduated from a top Computer Science school.
    • Have worked at reputable early-stage or high-growth startups.
    • Have experience with end-to-end web development.
    • Are excited to tackle challenging technical problems.
    • Have experience with TypeScript, React, and Python.

    Work Authorization

    Open to US Citizens, Green Card holders, O1, H1B, OPT, and TN visa holders.
