    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the Global Security Manager the IT Security Specialist drives the implementation, maintenance, and continual enhancement of a robust cyber security maturity program to meet the organization's strategic direction, legal, regulatory and compliance objectives. Your duties will include conducting regular evaluations of technical security controls, managing compliance activities, and providing support for business resilience and continuity. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure security practices are consistently applied across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and maintain physical and logical security controls aligned with corporate strategy.
    • Manage compliance activities including PCI DSS, SOC2, and ISO27001 audits.
    • Conduct regular internal audits and control reviews to ensure compliance.
    • Oversee business resilience and continuity evaluations.
    • Develop and maintain a security dashboard for management reporting.
    • Coordinate monthly vulnerability scans and penetration testing activities looking for trends and further enhancements from the resulting output.
    • Respond to and assist in managing information security incidents.
    • Collaborating with operational and functional leads to promote security practices.
    • Work closely with the IT Department and escalate risks to IT Leadership.
    • Participate in bid submissions to address information security components.
    • Participate in periodic third-party supplier evaluations to ensure the delivery of services in accordance with KPIs and contractual obligations.
    • Engage all areas of the business to further promote appropriate security behaviours.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Education:

    • Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

    Experience:

    • (3) years Security Management experience.
    • Proficient in English language skills.

    Technical Skill requirements:

    • Knowledge of SOC2 audits, ISO27001, and ITIL.
    • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM strongly preferred.
    • ISO27001 Lead Auditor and/or Implementor – strongly preferred.
    • ISO22301 Lead Auditor Business Continuity - strongly preferred.
    • Information security risk frameworks to influence security controls.
    • Firewalls – ability to conduct firewall ruleset reviews.
    • Basic networking concepts - WAN / LAN / VLANs
    • Familiarity of role-based access controls and access rights review process.
    • Familiarity with vulnerability monitoring tools.
    • Experience with security incident management tools and PCI DSS compliance.
    • Familiarity with cloud infrastructures, cybersecurity regulations in the USA, and CIS Controls.
    • Understanding of data protection legislation and business continuity concepts.
    • Proficiency in technical testing methodologies and tools.

    Location/Travel/Hours:

    • Travel required up to 40%, including within the US and Puerto Rico.
    • Occasional international travel.
    • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours.
