Financial Application Analyst Role The Sr.

Financial Application Analyst role supports and monitors the accuracy of SunStream and client's general ledgers through daily subsidiary balancing and reconciliations and supports our ICFR controls.

This role supports the application (Infor's FSM general ledger and accounts payable systems) and identifies potential process and application enhancements and works with our client user group to prioritize enhancements.

This role manages the monthly vendor upgrade process ensuring our clients are aware of enhancements and also ensuring quality releases.

Job Functions Account Reconciliation Identify, research and clear reconciling items, including general ledger items and entries from feeder systems, including:

General ledger to lending system variances General ledger clearing and suspense accounts General ledger interface error records Contact clients as needed to gather information and resolve issues Prepare and submit journal voucher entries to correct items discovered in balancing or reconciling Approves journal voucher entries submitted by others at SunStream Manages ICFR controls General Ledger and Loan System Maintenance Maintains chart of accounts by adding and closing accounts as needed Maintains cost centers and cost center relationships by adding and closing cost centers as needed Ensures all GL environments are consistent for chart of accounts and cost centers Researches, creates, and tests interface and explosion table entries to gain desired results Client Relationship Management Develops and maintains business service relationships with client finance management contacts Communicates information and guidance regarding general ledger enhancements updates and enhancements Processes client requests using SunStream's ticketing system Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance (preferred), or related field - 7 years of related experience General ledger experience and data analytics knowledge Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Required Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge and experience with the Infor Business Productivity applications, specifically General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Asset Management Working knowledge of General ledger applications General knowledge of GAAP Skill in reconciling complex account activity Skill in listening and conveying awareness of a customer's problem or issue to find resolution Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor, and customers Skill in data analytics Applicants requiring a reasonable accommodation for any part of the application process may contact us through the following methods: Phone: or M il: SunStream, Attn: Talent Recruiting, 30 E 7th Street, Suite 700, St.
