- Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
- Arrive at the terminal in a timely manner.
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers, without damage to the packages, company vehicle or yourself.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries using GPS
- Possibly need to load cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery, if necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, such as vans and box trucks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, such as loading and unloading cargo
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Independence: You will be working alone at your own pace, managing your own route and making good business decisions.
