Description
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan, formerly Beaumont Health, is recruiting for a neuropathologist (Full time OR PART time).
Board certification/eligibility from the American Board of Pathology (ABP) in AP/CP or AP is required and board eligibility or certification in neuropathology is highly desirable.
Annually, the department performs approximately 150,000 surgical pathology accessions, 100,000 Pap tests and 22,000 non-gynecologic/FNA accessions.The neurosurgery service is among the busiest in southeast Michigan with tumors, epilepsy, muscle biopsies and other types of specimens and we continue to improve our molecular neuropathology capabilities.
Corewell Health of Southeast Michigan is aligned with Oakland University William Beaumont SOM where teaching of medical students, pathology residents and one also works with neurology and neurosurgery residents.
