Job Summary
Corewell Health Medical Group East seeks a fellowship trained functional and epilepsy neurosurgeon for adult and pediatric patients at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital located in Southeast Michigan (Royal Oak, MI).
Corewell Health East has dedicated epilepsy and movement disorders neurologists as well as pain management specialists to help facilitate patient referrals and management.
Corewell Health William Beaumont University Children's Hospital neuroscience team was the first in Michigan to establish a Pediatric Stereoelectroencephalography (EEG) Epilepsy Surgery Program.
There is a dedicated Epilepsy monitoring unit and MEG facility, and the surgeon will work closely with the epileptologists to coordinate surgical care and management.
Additionally, there is a ROSA robotics platform and Laser Interstitial Stereotactic targeting platform for surgical cases.
Corewell Health is Michigan's largest not-for-profit health care system, Corewell Health was formed in February 2022 by Beaumont Health and Spectrum Health, Corewell Health East is comprised of eight hospitals, more than 150 outpatient locations, nearly 5,000physicians and more than 33,000 employees.
It is affiliated with Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, Michigan State University college of Osteopathic Medicine and Wayne State University School of Medicine.
