Jianming Xu's laboratory research in biomedical sciences focuses on investigating growth factor and steroid hormone-promoted cancers, specifically targeting breast, prostate, endometrial, and other types of cancers.

Given the significant incidences and mortality rates associated with these cancers, they represent a considerable threat to human health.

The studies conducted aim to provide insights into the factors that promote or inhibit the initiation, growth, and metastasis of these cancers.

By understanding these mechanisms, the research seeks to identify potential drug targets for the treatment of such cancers.
