Hydraulic Applications Engineer at Sulzer in the United StatesSulzer is a renowned engineering company known for its continuous innovation and expertise. Join our international team to contribute to the development of groundbreaking solutions that promote a sustainable and thriving society.
Your main responsibilities:
- Guide Sales and Tendering teams in selecting appropriate hydraulic solutions to meet customer needs.
- Oversee the creation of pump proposals and document them meticulously for accurate quoting.
- Review customer RFQs and specifications related to pump applications and hydraulic selection.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Sales Applications Engineers and Tendering Groups to prepare engineering documents, drawings, calculations, and specs.
- Assist in the order review process to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support Sales in customer meetings when required.
- Aid in the training and development of Engineering personnel.
- Participate in company-wide LEAN, EHS, and Quality Management Systems.
Requirements for this role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in rotating equipment design or application.
- Proficiency in math and computer skills, familiarity with Pumpjob, Siemens NX, and Filemaker is a plus.
- Knowledge of Advance Engineering Request System (AEAR) and Sulzer products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
