Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive global infrastructure strategy aligned with Flowserve's objectives and growth plans.

Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and professional development.

Infrastructure Design and Implementation : Oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable and resilient distributed and data center infrastructure solutions to support Flowserve's evolving needs.

Cloud Infrastructure Management : Drive the adoption and management of cloud infrastructure services, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and security.

Network Architecture : Lead the design and standards for a robust network architecture to facilitate seamless connectivity across all locations, including data centers and sites, and data and voice.

Telephony Architecture : Lead the design and maintenance of global telephony, voice architecture and telephony systems.

Security and Compliance : Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard the organization's infrastructure and data assets.

Vendor Management : Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate, select, negotiate, and manage infrastructure technologies and services while fostering partnership and vendor accountability.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity : Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions.

Budgeting and Cost Management : Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor infrastructure performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, WAN, LAN, and SDWAN networking, virtualization, cloud services, and telephony.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading largescale infrastructure programs and initiatives in a global enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading the design, architecture, and implementation of solutions leveraging Cisco and Meraki equipment, Microsoft Azure cloud services, Microsoft Teams Phone, and Zscaler.
  • Experience leading infrastructure in a hybrid outsourced model.
  • Experience leading infrastructure in a highly distributed global organization with thousands of employees located at hundreds of sites in countries across all four major geographic regions.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
